  • Ear problems and headaches

Chronic ear and head pain can be caused by poorly functioning Jaws *(TMJ dysfunction). Incorrect swallowing and mouth breathing can often be the primary cause. (see Video section). The TRAINER System can be helpful to treat these problems.

  • Benefits of nose breathing

Mouth breathing has been shown to decrease oxygen uptake and make infections more common. Health benefits from changing to nose breathing are well known and the TRAINER System is specifically designed to treat mouth breathing problems.

  • Posture and the trainer system

Many Physiotherapists and Chiropractors will notice that your child’s posture is incorrect. Improving nose breathing and jaw function often helps to improve posture. This is an added bonus of the TRAINER System. Supervision by an appropriate professional may be needed.

  • Speech problems and the trainer system

Speech is directly affected by tongue position and the function of the facial muscles. The TRAINER System often improves speech in conjunction with speech therapies.

  • Allergies

Allergies cause chronic mouth breathing and consequently poor jaw growth and crowded teeth. Major allergens are dairy products. It is recommended to keep intake of dairy products in children to a minimum.

  Dear Farid,

Bad oral habits can destroy your child’s appearance. Mouth breathing, thumb sucking and tongue thrusting can cause incorrect facial and dental development. Now you can treat these problems easily and effectively using The Pre-Orthodontic Trainer called T4K (Trainers for Kids) just 1 hour after supper and during the sleep. T4K corrects Myofunctional Habits during mixed dentition, braces, permanent dentition and more. The Trainer system gives your kids • a better look • a better smile • a better future •

  • Growth and development

60 % of a child's growth occurs before age 6. The majority of children with develop orthodontic problems at this early age. It is therefore logical to effect therapy at this time. The teeth are guided into position by the lips, cheeks and tongue. The shape of the jaw is affected by mouth breathing and tongue position. Train all of these functions correctly and the teeth, jaws and face develop normally - this is the myofunctional effect. Your Dentist or Orthodontist may be the first to recognise that your child has a problem developing. However, it is beneficial to observe your child's dental development from age 3. This way you can do something before it is too late. A few simple guidelines

    • Incorrect overbite
    • Facial profile
    • Open mouth posture
